▶ SIGHT: Aurora is a natural beauty, described as "breathtaking" in the original screenplay. This is part of why Jim chooses to awaken her instead of any of the other 5000 passengers. She's pale with white blonde hair that's cut just above her shoulders. She has blue eyes.
▶ SOUND: Though a native New Yorker, her accent is more generically American. When she speaks, it's with confidence and it doesn't take much to elicit a rant from her – usually about the so-called corporate overlords and the selling of the Homestead II dream.
▶ SMELL: Upon awakening from hibernation, like a hospital. Sterile. Once she was able to shower, fresh, like citrus. Among her belongings were a handful of her favorite perfumes, including one of her mother's. None of them are overbearing but rather light, vanilla and the occasional faint floral. A lifetime ago, she carried the scent of the city, smoke and petrol.
▶ INFORMATION FOR PSYCHICS AND OTHER MAGIC USERS: » Anyone is welcome to read Aurora's mind. Points of interest would be the fact that she willingly boarded a spaceship that would spend 120 years in flight towards a planet named Homestead II and woke from hibernation 90 years early. While she was the only passenger on the ship with a return ticket to Earth, the time spent in space would mean her Earth family would be long dead by the time she returned. She thinks like a journalist, always looking for a story to be told, and is typically logical except when it comes to love. Jim.
